| Job Duties: | Assistant financial activities of the organization. Assistant in the preparation, using computer or calculator or direct preparation, of financial reports summarizing and forecasting the company's business activities and business position in the area of income,expense, and earnings, based on submission to the Board of Directors on Saipan and Japan. Interpret and translate financial reports from English to Japanese and Japanese to English for the President and Board of Directors. To be major interpreter and translator for the President in all Board of Directors meetings on Saipan and Japan and other off-island business meetings. Assists direct determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets. Makes recommendation of depreciation to the management for major economic objectives and polices for the company. Assist managing and directing the activities of the Accounting Department personnel. Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies and the Head Office in Japan. Advise the audit of the company account. Assist in directing of property and liability insurance coverage needed. Assist in directing financial planning, procurement and investment of funds for the organization. Provide written and oral reports, in English and Japanese, to the President and the Board of Directors. Attend quarterly meetings of the Head Office and subsidiary companies Comptrollers in Japan. The position requires that incumbent must read, write and speak Japanese and English. Must be college graduate in Accounting with at minimum of Three(3) years of accounting work experience. |
