| Job Duties: | Setting up, relocating , monitoring or testing of T1, BTS airsites and other telecommunication equipments. Trouble shoots system outage, telecommunications equipment such as backhole, panel, etc; Installation of equipments in new locations and assist with other installations such as wiring, testing equipments, airsites, etc.. Test circuits and components of malfunctioning telecommunications equipment such as airnet and nokia 2G airsites to isolate sources of malfunctions, using test meters, circuit diagrams, polarity probes, and other hand tools. Surveying and monitoring of down sites; Communicate with Guam base, using telephones, email or two-way radios to receive instructions or technical advice, or to report equipment status. Clean and maintain tools, cables, test equipments, and company motor vehicles; Measure distances from landmarks to identify exact installation sites for equipment; Route and connect cables and lines to switches, switchboard equipment, and distributing frames, using wire-wrap guns or soldering irons to connect wires to terminals. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Employer Preference: Must have 1 year experience on telecommunications network maintenance; Must be a college graduate; Must have a strong background on electronics, switching, control - operation of telecommunication equipments; Must be well versed with communications equipments such as airnet, nokia airsites, T1, BTS; Must be able to understand sudden and relay specific instructions from Base. Must be proficient on doing reports instructed by Base; Must be able to work full-time which may require on call such as evenings, weekends and holidays if necessary; Must have own transportation with valid driver's license; O-Net: Title Job Zone Two: Some Preparation Needed Overall Experience Some previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience may be helpful in these occupations, but usually is not needed. For example, a teller might benefit from experience working directly with the public, but an inexperienced person could still learn to be a teller with little difficulty.
