| Job Duties: | Provide administrative support to an attorney in the overall admistration of the legal office; perfoms complex, responsible & confidential admin for the law office with detail require confidentiality, initiative independent judgment & strong intel-personal skills. Aid the attorney in a staff capacity by coordinating offices services such as personnel, budget preparation & control, housekeeping, record control & special management studies. Types of independently, prepares correspondence & legal motion & pleadings; maintains variety of legal and administrative files and record. Screen calls, visitors & mail, interprets office policies, rules & regulations; independently respond to letter and general correspondence of a routine nature; files legal notices; make travel arrangements; maintains appointment of schedules and calendars; arange meetings and conferences; obtain & assembles materials required; types & correct draft; take & transcribed oral dictation from meeting, prepare legal papers & correspondence of legal nature, such as summons, complaints, motions & subpoenas. Files pleading & legal documents and papers at the Supreme, Superior & District Courts. Review law journals & other legal publications to identify court decisions pertinent to pending cases and submits articles to the attorney. Perform other related duties as requried or assigned as permitted by P.L. 11-51. |
