Job Duties: | Manages and controls capital expenditures and operating expenses for projects at CNMI bulk fuel terminal to ensure established standards of efficiency, safety, costs and timeliness are met. Responsible to ensure that safety, health, environment and operational integrity initiatives are implemented in the terminal projects. Reviews plans and specifications and project schedule. Conducts construction meetings. Submits weekly and monthly progress reports. Review contractor's cost estimates and request for payment. Responds to contractor's request for information and clarification. Conducts acceptance. Participates in and be familiar with start-up and commissioning and performs safety checks, IPO, JSA reviews and quality checks as necessary. Performs other related duties that may be assigned. |

Qualification Requirements: | Employer Preference: Must have a degree in Engineering. Must have an extensive and succesful experience in engineering design, engineering project management and construction management in civil or mechanical works. Must possess an understanding of Federal and Local regulations as they apply to engineering and construction. Professional Engineer registration and experience in petroleum, oil and distribution project works are highly desirable. O-Net: Title Job Zone Four: Considerable Preparation Needed Overall Experience A minimum of two to four years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is needed for these occupations. For example, an accountant must complete four years of college and work for several years in accounting to be considered qualified.
