| Job Duties: | Receives and count stock items. Compare merchandise invoices to items actually received to ensure that deliveries are correct. Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves. Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins and tables with new or transferred merchandise. Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock. Take inventory or examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished. Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps,electric marketing tools, or other labeling equipment. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Answers customers' questions about merchandise. Request merchandise from supplier based on available space, merchandise on hand, customer demand, or advertised specials. May perform other related duties as assigned. |
