| Job Title: | Electrical Drafter 17-3012.02 |
| Job Duties: | Drafts electrical equipment working drawings and wiring diagrams used for electrical construction and repairs for industrial, commercial and residential buildings. Knowledge in Auto CAD operations is required. Prepares working plans and detailed drawings from rough or detailed sketches and notes for engineering, manufacturing and construction purposes according to dimensional and technical specifications. Calculates and lay out dimensions, angles, curvature of parts, materials to be used utilizing knowledge of engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, manufacturing technology and related physical sciences. Creates preliminary and final sketch of proposed drawing using computer-assisted design/drafting (CADD)equipment. Modifies drawings as directed by electrical engineers and managers. Ability to interpret and/or comprehend standard electrical symbols, methods and terminology with minimal supervision from engineers and managers. Mandatory experience in implementation of complex spreadsheets, word processing and network related computer functions is essential. Creates, compiles, stores, and retrieves data using computer and various software. |
