| Job Duties: | Research cases, federal & public laws, rules & regulations on legal issues for Chief Counsel & provide memorandum & report. Investigate issues as may be assigned by Chief Legal Counsel. Assist the Chief Legal Counsel & safety officer on various OSHA matters, inspection programs & cases. Assist the Legal Counsel on litigation matters involving civil & administrative cases, including attendance in deposition hearings & meetings, preparation of litigation materials & documents. Attend small claim collection hearings as may be assigned by the Chief Legal Counsel. File pleading in court & serve pleading to various parties & counsels. Research on companies & corporate documents at the registrar’s office as may be assigned by the Chief Legal Counsel or corporate officer. Research on leases & other recorded documents filed at the Commonwealth recorder’s office as may be assigned by the Chief Legal Counsel or corporate officer. Prepare & submit applications & renewals for business licenses, permits, & reports of all affiliates & subsidiaries. Prepare & update records & facilities. Organize, keep, maintain & secure all corporate & seals, recorded leases, various contracts & written programs of affiliates & subsidiaries. Perform other related duties as required or assigned. |
