| Job Duties: | Prepares bread, rolls, muffins, cookies, pies, cake or dessert according to recipe: Decorates cakes and pastries with designs, using icing bag or handmade paper cone: Trims uneven surfaces of cake or cuts and shapes cake to required size, using knife. Spreads icing between layers and on surfaces of cake, using spatula. Tints white icing with food coloring. May mix ingredient to make icing. Check the quality of raw materials to ensure that standards and specifications are met. Adapt the quantity of ingredients to match the amount of items to be baked. Check equipment to ensure that it meets health and safety regulations and perform maintenance or cleaning, as necessary. Other related duties as maybe assigned |
