| Job Duties: | Repairs & maintains physical structures of commercial & industrial establishments, such as factories & office buildings, Apartment houses & logging & mining constructions using hand tools. Repair or replace defective equipment parts & other fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Paints structures & repair woodwork with carpenter's tools, repair plumbing fixtures. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that the physical condition of the building does not deteriorate. Repairs plaster & lays bricks. Build sheds 7 other out buildings. Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, machinery and equipment. Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work. Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools. Perform other related duties as assign. |
