| Job Duties: | Decorates cakes and pastries with designs using icing bag or handmade paper cone. Trims uneven surface of cake, cuts, and shapes cake to required size using knife. Spreads fillings and icings between layers and on the surface of cake using spatula. Tints white icing with food coloring. Inserts die of specific design into tip bag or paper cone and fills bag or cone with colored icing. Squeezes bag to eject while moving bag with free-arm writing motions to form design on cake. Forms decorations on flower ail and transfers decorations to cake, using spatula. Checks daily job orders and does inventory of items. Mixes icing, create specific decorative designs on cakes, cookies and pastries and other duties as needed. |
