| Job Duties: | Provides individualized, goal-directed patient care the use of the nursing process. Performs nursing functions including assessing vital signs, manages IVs, performs electrocardiogram. Maintains accurate records reflecting the patient's conditions and nursing interventions. Utilizes communicatio skills approriately. Maintains patients confidentiality of information. Monitor record and report symptoms and changes in patient's conditions. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records. Record patients medical information vital signs. Direct and supervise less skilled bursing or health care personnel or supervise a particular unit. Consult and coorodinate health care team members to assess, plan implement and evaluate patient care plans. Monitor all aspects of patient care including diet and physical activity. Instruct individuals, families ad other groups on topics such as health education, disease prevention and childbirth, and develop health improvement programs. Prepare patients for and assist with examination and treatments. |
