| Job Duties: | Operates & maintain stationary engines & mechanical equipment. Read meter, gauges, or automatic recording devices at specific intervals to verify operating conditions. records data such as temperature of equipment, hours of operation, fuel consumed, temperature of pressure, water levels, anaysis of fuel gases, voltage loads and generator balance. Adjust manual controls or overrides automatic controls to bring equipments into recommended or prescribed operating ranges, switch to back up equipment or system and do other related duties as directed. |

| Qualification Requirements: | ER Preference: HS Graduate or Equivalent, must have two years experience in power plant operation. O-Net: Title Job Zone Three: Medium Preparation Needed Overall Experience Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required for these occupations. For example, an electrician must have completed three or four years of apprenticeship or several years of vocational training, and often must have passed a licensing exam, in order to perform the job.
