Job Duties: Converse with customer to determine destination, mode of transportation, travel dates, financial considerations, and accommodations required. Book transportation and hotel reservations, using computer terminal or telephone. Plan, describe, arrange and sell itinerary tour packages and promotional travel incentives offered by various travel carriers. Provide customer with brochures and publications containing travel information, such as local customs, points of interest, or foreign country regulations. Compute cost of travel and accommodations, using calculator, computer, carrier tariff books, and hotel rate books, or quote package tour's costs. Collect payment for transportation and accommodations from customer. Print or request transportation carrier tickets, using computer printer system link travel carrier.

Qualification Requirements: ER Preference: High School diploma or equivalent required. 2 years travel industry experience as a Travel Consultant with strong sales and customer service skills; experience with one or more GDS systems, ability to read, define and apply International tariff, fare rules, taxes, hub utilization and explicit knowledge/application of International airline contacts; proficient with Amadeus selling platform and IATA billing and settlement plan; able to assist in all aspects of arranging/booking travel including air, hotel, car and alternate ground transportation, including strong aptitude/understanding for booking highly complex multiple leg international itineraries; capable of prioritizing, multi-tasking and handle high volume effectively; effective follow-up skills; demonstrates a highly professional attitude and personal presentation in all verbal and written communications; flexibility to work any shift.
