| Job Duties: | Perform maintenance, and repair of laundromat machines: laundry machine & dry cleaning machines. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly & efficiently, or the physical condition of machine does not deteriorate. Tend and observe laundromat machines to verify efficient and safe operation for the use of the customers in the stablishment. Examine and test laundromat machines from time to time. It's components, and parts for defects to ensure proper functioning, for the use and safety of the customers. Adjust, connect, or disconnect wiring, piping, tubing, and other parts of the laundromat machines using hand or power tools. Install or replace parts of the luandromat machines, using hand or power tools. Clean or lubricate laundromat machines using hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment. Apply protective materials to laundromat machines, components, and parts to prevent worn out of the mahies. Disassemble broken or defective parts of the laundromat machine to facilitate repair and reassembl when repairs are complete. Assemble and maintain physical structures of the laundromat machines, using hand or power tools. Provide assistance to more skilled workers involved in the adjustment, maintenance, part replacement, and repair of laundromat machines. Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work of the laundromat machine. A laundromat Machine Maintenance & Repairer mus have the following skills & abilities: Equipment Maintenance — Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed. Repairing — Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools. Troubleshooting — Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it. Active Listening — Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Installation — Installing equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications. Equipment Selection — Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job. Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Reading Comprehension — Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. Operation Monitoring — Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly. Coordination — Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions Problem Sensitivity — The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
