| Job Duties: | Compile and balance cash receipts at the end of the day or shift. Resolve customer complaints regarding food service. Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations. Train workers in food preparation, and in service, sanitation, and safety procedures. Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards. Control inventories of food, equipment, small wares, and report shortages to designated personnel. Observe and evaluate workers and work procedures in order to ensure quality standards and service. Estimate ingredients and supplies required to prepare a recipe. Analyze operational problems, such as theft and wastage, customer service satisfaction and establish procedures to alleviate these problems. Coordinate assignments of cooking personnel to ensure economical use of food and timely preparation. Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity. Maintain food and equipment inventories, and keep inventory records. Schedule staff hours and assign duties. Establish standards for personnel performance and customer service and other duties as needed. |
