| Job Duties: | (Restaurant) Serve meals to patrons according to established rules of etiquette,working informal setting. Take orders from patrons for food or beverage.Check patrons identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages. Total the bills and collect payments from customers,or refer patrons to Cashier. Prepare checks that itemize and total meals costs and sales taxes. Write patrons food orders on order slips,memorize orders,or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff. Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters,and take them to kitchen for cleaning.Present menus to patrons and answer questions about the daily specials. Provide customers the best servings needed,by showing cheerfulness look,greetings and always say "Thank You and Come Again". Will do other related duties as needed and directed by the supervisors. |
