| Job Duties: | manages sales activities of establishment, directs staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop and control sales programs. Coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals and advices dealers, distributors and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques. Assign sales territory to sales personnel. Analyzes sales statistic to formulate policy and to assist dealers in promoting sales. Reviews market analyzes and to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedule and discount rates, and develop sales campaign to accommodate goals of items from sales line. Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products. Coordinates liason between sales department and other sales related units. Analysis and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirments. Assist other departments within establishment to prepare manual and technical publications. Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume and potential sales. May direct sales for manufacturer, retail store, wholesale house, jobber or other establishment. May direct product research and development. May recommend or approve budget, expenditures, and appropriations for research and development work.as certain suffiency of materials needed to fill orders, places orders for materials, coordinates with suppliers availability of stock ordered and timeliness of delivery. recommends to customers alternative product lines in case orders are met supplies needed. |
