| Job Duties: | Installs, maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, physical strutures and pipe and electrical systems in commercial or industrial establishment, following specifications, blueprints, manuals and schematic drawings using handtools, power tools, hoist, crane and measuring and testing instruments. Visually inspects and test machinery and equipment using electrical and electronic test equipment. Listens for unusual sounds from machine or equipment to detect malfuntion and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine. Dismantle defective machines and equipments and installs new or repair parts following specfication and blueprints using precision measuring instruments and handtools and does all other related duties as assigned. |
