Job Duties: Coordinates front-office activities of hotel or motel and resolves problems arising from guests' complaints, & usual request & inquiries: Assign duties & shift to workers & observe performances to ensure adherence to hotel policies & established operating procedures. Confers & cooperates with other department heads to ensure coordination of hotel activities. Answer inquiries pertaining hotel policies & services. Greets important guests. Arrange private telephone line & other special services. May patrol public rooms, investigate any disturbances, & warn troublemakers. May interview & hire applicants. May received & process advance registration payments. may send out letters of confirmation, etc. * Greet and register guests. * Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services, and resolve occupants' complaints. * Assign duties to workers, and schedule shifts. * Coordinate front-office activities of hotels or motels, and resolve problems. * Participate in financial activities such as the setting of room rates, the establishment of budgets, and the allocation of funds to departments. * Confer and cooperate with other managers to ensure coordination of hotel activities. * Collect payments, and record data pertaining to funds and expenditures. * Manage and maintain temporary or permanent lodging facilities. * Observe and monitor staff performance to ensure efficient operations and adherence to facility's policies and procedures. * Train staff members.

Qualification Requirements: ER Preference: Must have Bachelor or Associate Degree in Hotel & Room management or equivalent. Must have two or more years experience in hotel management. Must be able to speak, read, & write Japanese and Korean Language preferred. O-Net: Title Job Zone Three: Medium Preparation Needed Overall Experience Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required for these occupations. For example, an electrician must have completed three or four years of apprenticeship or several years of vocational training, and often must have passed a licensing exam, in order to perform the job.
