| Job Duties: | Key Responsibilities: Ensures Satisfied Customers All the Time 1. Delivers Service with a friendly attitude and connecting with the customer. Responds to customer needs and says thank you to every customer. 2. Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues. Discover customer needs and appropriately suggests product with every customer to enhance service and meet your sales goals. 3. Assists customers in the selection and purchase of specialty coffee beverages, bakery item and food (as applicable). 4. Maintains customer service area and equipment in a clean and appealing manner. * Check patrons' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages. * Collect payments from customers. * Write patrons' food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff. * Take orders from patrons for food or beverages. * Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. * Serve food or beverages to patrons, and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required. * Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes. * Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning. * Present menus to patrons and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request. * Inform customers of daily specials. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Qualifications Candidate must have a positive attitude and be guest oriented. Must possess a passion for providing excellent customer service. Must maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards at all times. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(English) used in the workplace. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must possess basic computational ability. Must be able to exert well-paced mobility in limited space. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity. Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and subordinates. Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment. High school or equivalent education required. Previous experience with Micros POS system is an asset. Previous cash handling experience would be an asset. Previous Coffee Shop experience would be an asset. At least 3 months of food-customer service required O-Net: Title Job Zone One: Little or No Preparation Needed Overall Experience No previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is needed for these occupations. For example, a person can become a cashier even if he/she has never worked before. Job Training Employees in these occupations need anywhere from a few days to a few months of training.
