Job Title: Tractor Trailer Truck Driver 53-3032.00
Job Duties: Drive a tractor-trailer combination or a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 GVW, to transport and deliver goods, or materials in liquid, loose, or packaged form. Drive truck to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations in maneuvering logging truck in difficult situations such as narrow passageways. Inspect trucks for defects before and after trips and submit reports indication truck condition. Maintain log according to I.C.C. regulations. Perform container pick-up and delivery services for inbound and outbound cargoes as required, ensuring that cargoes reach intended location in good condition and on a timely manner. Provide support in the observance of maintenance of transportation equipment being used on a daily basis. Perform daily tractor/equipment checks and report any discrepancy to the Trucking & Hauling Supervisor. Prepare daily activity reports and submit it together with all supporting documents to the Trucking & Hauling Supervisor on a daily basis. Follow regulation and policies from the Department of Transportation. Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualification Requirements: ER Preference: A high school diploma and may require some vocational training or job-related course work or an associate's or bachelor's degree. Must have at least 1 year work experience. Must have training in handling Hazardous Materials and Dangerous Goods. Must be able to pass and obtain a Driver’s Medical Certificate. Must have a valid CNMI’s Driver License. KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions. Knowledge of Argos Software ABECAS Insight WMS; ATMS StockTrack PLUS; RedPrairie DLx Warehouse; SAP warehouse management software; Aldata G.O.L.D. software; and SSA Global Supply Chain Management. SKILLS: Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed. Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it. Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly. Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts, passenger vehicles, or aircraft. ABILITIES: The ability to judge which of several objects is closer or farther away from you, or to judge the distance between you and an object. The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
