Job Duties: Renders variety of personal services to airline passengers requiring other than normal service, such as company officials, distinguished persons, foreign speaking passengers, invalids, and unaccompanied children. Greets & escorts distinguished persons to lounge or waiting area. Transports special passengers between lobby and boarding area, using electric cart. Gives aid to ill or injured passengers and obtains medical assistance. Informs relatives of passengers’ whereabouts and condition. Assists elderly persons and unaccompanied children in claiming personal belongings and baggage. Accompanies foreign speaking passengers, or aliens traveling without visas, aboard airplane and introduces them to Airplane Flight Attendant. Arranges for air commuter & ground transportation. Teletypes or telephones down-line stations regarding special services for arriving passengers. Make and confirm reservations and sell tickets to passengers and for large hotel or motel chains. May check baggage and direct passengers to designated concourse, pier, or track; make reservations, deliver tickets, arrange for visas, contact individuals and groups to inform them of package tours, or provide tourists with travel information, such as points of interest, restaurants, rates, and emergency service. Plan routes, itineraries, and accommodation details, and compute fares and fees, using schedules, rate books, and computers. Make and confirm reservations for transportation and accommodations, using telephones, faxes, mail, and computers. Prepare customer invoices and accept payment. Answer inquiries regarding information such as schedules, accommodations, procedures, and policies. Assemble and issue required documentation, such as tickets, travel insurance policies, and itineraries. Determine whether space is available on travel dates requested by customers, assigning requested spaces when available. Inform clients of essential travel information, such as travel times, transportation connections, and medical and visa requirements. Maintain computerized inventories of available passenger space and provide information on space reserved or available. Confer with customers to determine their service requirements and travel preferences. Examine passenger documentation to determine destinations and to assign boarding passes. Operate a computerized passenger ticket terminal. Assists passengers in locating lost luggage as well as handing damaged bag claims. Coordinates the return of lost luggage with external providers. Take lost and found reports. Log and store baggage left over from flights. Maintain log of all unclaimed baggage. Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualification Requirements: ER Preference: Must have at least 6 months to 1 year experience. Able to speak in a different languages such as in Chinese or Korean preferred. Must be able to pass a written test. Must be able to pass a drug test according to FAA. Must have a valid driver's license. Must have certain training in distinguishing hazardous materials and dangerous goods. Must be able to work a flexible schedule or split shift schedules. Must have Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Must have Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions. Must have Knowledge of principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits. Overall knowledge of airport operations. Good communication skills in written and spoken English. Knowledge of computers and systems. Knowledge of passenger operations and activities including general airport rules, regulations and procedures. Knowledge of Reservations and Check in systems. Baggage tracing knowledge. Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, varied schedules. Self-motivated, friendly and a good team member. Ability to work in stressful situations. Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds repetitively. Must be able to pass a drug test. Must be able to pass a 10yr background check. Must have a valid driver's license. Will work in all weather conditions regardless of severity (less lightning storms within airport perimeter). Must be able to bend, squat and climb stairs.
