| Job Duties: | Performs combination of the following duties on construction and renovation project sites: mixing cement and quarry products to produce fresh concrete as per project design specifications, either manually or by using a portable concrete mixer; laying concrete hollow blocks of all sizes; laying artificial stone bricks and the likes; applying concrete plaster on various surfaces or, prepare textured-concrete finish on horizontal, vertical and suspended surfaces. Levels freshly poured concrete on floors, roofs, decks etc. then smoothen the surface to lessen concrete's porous nature using a variety of hand and power tools. Must be familiar with the temperature's effect on concrete curing. Will do manual digging, trenching, earth levelling and grading when required using pick, shovel and other relevant hand tools. Dismantle concrete forms and demolish concrete structures to be rehabiliated or modified. Sets ceramic tiles and other stone products like pebbles, boulders, marble and granite slabs etc. Must be flexible to all working situations, team oriented and possesses common sense. Performs other tasks assigned or required. |
