| Job Duties: | 1. Inspects air-conditioning units to ensure efficient operation. 2. Performs regularly scheduled maintenance on heating and cooling units. 3. Diagnoses mechanical and electrical malfunctions; installs, replaces or repairs damaged equipment; calibrates thermostatic controls. 4. Installs new heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems; repairs and replaces damaged or worn heating, ventilation and air-conditioning parts and equipment; repairs or replaces low and high pressure liquid lines. 5. Inspects and observes pressure of liquids and vapor with instrumentation to ensure efficient operation of units and make necessary adjustments; inspects and services refrigeration equipment including refrigerators, ice machines, gas packs and heat pumps. 6. Maintains the chilled and hot water supply systems. 7. Adjusts and maintains internal electrical and electronic control systems; cleans coils and blowers and checks motors and belt tensions. 8. Assembles and installs metal ductwork. 9. Assists in planning and designing of new installations of heating and air-conditioning systems. 10.Performs related duties and responsibilities as required |

| Qualification Requirements: | ER Preference: 1. Must have at least 2yrs experience. 2. Knowledge of computerized electrical circuits and systems as they relate to air-conditioning, heating, ventilation and refrigerated cooling. 3. Knowledge of sheet metal, electrical, plumbing and carpentry. 4. Ability to interpret building codes and regulations. 5. Ability to properly install refrigerant compressors. 6. Ability to diagnose problems and make recommendations. 7. Ability to make estimates of materials required. 8. Ability to repair and replace damaged parts and equipment. 9. Ability to read blueprints, floor plans and wiring diagrams. 10.Ability to Work independently in the absence of supervision. 11.Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions. 11.Ability to Establish and maintain effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. 12.Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
