| Job Duties: | Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in preserving grounds and turf of golf course condition. Confers with superintendent, Greens to plan and review work projects. Determines work priority and assigns workers specific tasks such as fertilizing, irrigating, seeding, mowing raking, and spraying. Mixes and prepares recommended spray and dust solutions. May direct and assist workers engaged in maintenance and repair of mechanical and equipment. Assist in all aspect of turf planing, development, and rehabilitation, establishes mowing schedule and programs to maintain and improve condition, prepares seeding plans to ensure maximum turf grass development and proper grass mixtures. Establish and implement fertilization plans, performs site inspection of all courses to determine and schedule maintenance, diagnoses and correctss turf grass disease and drainage problems etc. |
