| Job Duties: | Supervises and coordinates activities aof workers engaged in constructing new areas and preserving golf course grounds: Plans work programs,utilizing experience and established agronomic practices, to improve and maintain turf in playing condition of golf course. Plans new areas or changes in course and directs workers engaged in cultivation,grading,seeding and sodding of area. Review test results of soil and turf samples and directs application of fertilizer, lime, insecticides,and fungicides. Tours grounds to ascertain work progress and condition of course. Inspect turf to designate height and frequency of mowing,and determine need for supplemental irrigation to sustain or force growth. Coordinates activities of workers engaged in terracing hillsides,building retaining walls, constructing pathways,installing patios. Reviews contracts to ascertain service, machine,and workforce requirements, answers inquiries from potential customers regarding methods,materials,and machine costs. Reviews and keeps employee time records,prepare time sheets for payroll periods. May assign workers to short-course training sessions related to course maintenance. May perform other related duties as assigned and directed. |

| Qualification Requirements: | ER Preference: Applicants must be a high school graduate and or graduate of associate degrees. Must have at least One year work experienced as Golf Superintendent.
