| Job Duties: | Responsible in scheduling, starting, patrol and public elations work on a golf course. Work is performed with some independence in achieving assigned objectives and in carrying out activities in accordance with established policies, regulations, procedures and programs. Schedules the order of play, assigns golf players to the tee and starts in a manner consistent with the order of play. Patrols golf course property inspecting course conditions, observing golfer activity and enforcing golf course rules and regulations. Coordinates course play, speeds up or arranges play through slow groups, provides assistance to players, receives player complaints and maintains favorable public relations with golf course customers. Assists in unpacking or pricing of pro shop merchandise and may assist in sales. Assists in determining and reporting golf course maintenance needs. May assist in balancing of cash on hand against receipts, reconciliation of simple cash statements, maintenance of the petty cash funds and inventory taking. Ensures the proper payment and collection of green fees. Prepares daily, weekly and monthly reports as required. Maintains an accurate ledger reflecting course play. Performs merchandising duties, pricing, selling and displaying all pro shop merchandise. And prepare golf course revenue reports. Takes reservations for tee times. Ability to enforce rules, regulations and policies with tact, firmness and impartiality and to resolve problems of participants. Has the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the participating public as necessitated by the work and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally in writing. Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Illustrator applications. Performs related work as assigned such as picking up and dropping off tourists at hotels, deliver brochures to travel agents, hotels, shops, restaurants, etc. and includes cleaning works in parking areas, toilets, lobby and others. Can speak the Japanese and Korean language. |
