Job Duties: ER preference: Provides beauty services for customers. Analyzes hair to ascertain condition of hair. Applies bleach, dye of tint, to color customer’s hair, first applying solution to portion of customer’s skin to determine if customer is allergic to solution. Shampoos hair and scalp. Massages scalp and gives other hair and scalp-conditioning treatment for hygienic or remedial purposes. Styles hair. Performs other beauty services such as massaging the face or neck, applying of make-up, shaping and coloring eyebrows or eyelashes, removing unwanted hair, applying solutions that straighten hair or retain curls or waves in hair, and waving or curling hair. Cleans, shapes and polishes fingernails and toenails. Performs other related duties that may be assigned. Onet: * Keep work stations clean and sanitize tools such as scissors and combs. * Cut, trim and shape hair or hairpieces, based on customers' instructions, hair type and facial features, using clippers, scissors, trimmers and razors. * Analyze patrons' hair and other physical features to determine and recommend beauty treatment or suggest hair styles. * Schedule client appointments. * Bleach, dye, or tint hair, using applicator or brush. * Update and maintain customer information records, such as beauty services provided. * Shampoo, rinse, condition and dry hair and scalp or hairpieces with water, liquid soap, or other solutions. * Operate cash registers to receive payments from patrons. * Demonstrate and sell hair care products and cosmetics. * Develop new styles and techniques.

Qualification Requirements: ER preference: High school graduate or its equivalent. Two(2) years experience required. Onet: Title Job Zone Three: Medium Preparation Needed Education Most occupations in this zone require training in vocational schools, related on-the-job experience, or an associate's degree. Related Experience Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required for these occupations.
