| Job Duties: | Teach students academic subjects using a variety of techniques in phonetics, multi-sensory learning, and repetition in order to reinforce learning and to meet students' varied needs. Meet with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress, and to determine priorities for the students and their resource needs. Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provide students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate. Prepares daily and/or weekly lesson plan and teaching materials based on A Beka curriculum. Other related duties and responsibilities are assigned. Qualification Requirements: Employer Preference: At least 3 years classroom teaching experience. Experience in teaching Abeka preferably. College graduate holding BS degree in Elementary Education or equivalent. Must be computer literate. Dedicated, hard worker and honest. |
