| Job Duties: | Prepare, seasons and cooks meats, vegetable, dessert and other food stuff for consumption in eating establishment. Reads menu to estimate food requirements and orders food suppliers or procures from storage. Follow standard recipe in accordance of corporate standards. Adjust thermostat controls to regulate temperature of ovens, broiler, grillers, roasters, steam kettles and smoker. Measure and mixes ingredients according to recipe, using variety of kitchen utensils and equipments, such as blender , mixers, grinders, slicers and other tenderizers to prepare soups, salad, gravies, desserts, sauces and casseroles. Bakes, roasts, broils and steams meats, fish, vegetables and other foods. Adds seasoning to foods during mixing or cooking according to personal judgement and experience. Observes and tests foods being cooked by tasting, smelling and piercing with fork to determine that is cooked, Carves meats, portions foods on serving plates, add gravies and sauces, garnishes servings to fill orders, Performs other related duties as assigned.
