| Job Duties: | Er preference: Assist in supervising the day-to-day activity of housekeepers ensuring their efficiency and deluxe quality production while performing their assigned duties. Responsible for an area of approximately 295 guest rooms covering approximately 6 floors. Monitors daily work flows of employees supervised ensuring for proper use of time and quality performances. Physically inspects guest rooms, VIP rooms, adjacent corridors and stairways to ensure that it’s clean according standard procedures. Inspects all vacant rooms daily following standard operating procedures. Assist housekeepers with general or particular problems encountered with their work. Assist in coordination of special projects as assigned, such as general cleaning, carpet shampooing and return to sale of out-of-order units, etc. Monitor the proper use of linens, cleaning supplies and equipment used by employees to realize the most efficient and economical use and safe- guarding of hotel property. Performs daily key control and inventory of all keys assigned to the Housekeeping Department. Coordinates daily and regularly with the front desk clerks and supervisors on room control. Maintains file on daily work sheets and housekeepers work assignment reports. Makes all necessary logging for lost and found items turned in and secure items in a safe place. Receives incoming calls and coordinates accordingly all request from guest and staff on the floor for supplies. Review performance evaluation of housekeepers. Perform other related duties as assigned. Onet: * Direct activities for stopping the spread of infections in facilities such as hospitals. * Inspect work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards. * Plan and prepare employee work schedules. * Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary. * Investigate complaints about service and equipment, and take corrective action. * Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure that services are provided in an efficient and timely manner. * Check equipment to ensure that it is in working order. * Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities to determine the type of work required. * Select the most suitable cleaning materials for different types of linens, furniture, flooring, and surfaces. * Instruct staff in work policies and procedures, and the use and maintenance of equipment. |
