| Job Duties: | To maintain grounds and turf of golf course in playing condition: Operate powered equipment such as mowers,tractors,carts,chainsaws,electric clippers and other equipment. Mow and edge lawns, using power mowers and edgers. Care for established lawns by aerating,weeding,trimming and edging around flowerbeds,walks and walls. Use hand tools such as shovels,rakes pruning saws,saws,hedge,brush trimmers and axes. Prune and trim trees,shrubs,and hedges using shears,prunes or chainsaws. Gather and remove litters. Maintain and repair tools,equipment and structures such as building,greenhouses, fences,and benches using hand and power tools. Mix and spray fertilizers, herbicides,fungicides or insecticides onto the grass,shrubs,and trees using hand,sprayers or spreaders. Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, drive ways,parking lots,planters and other ground features. |
