| Job Duties: | Job Description Based in Saipan, the Media Relations/Public Relations Officer will carry out all Public Relations/Media Relations activities across the business with all government departments, agencies, and instrumentalities and the private sector in the Northern Mariana Islands, with fresh ideas on creating new PR campaigns, building strong contacts within the media. The role will be critical in ensuring that the day to day PR and communications activity is implemented. A talented PR/Media Officer should also carry out marketing agenda on our clients through public relations channel. If you are a Public Relations wizard with the gift of building successful relationships, we want to hear from you. Requirements/ Position Specifications - As the ideal candidate, you should have at least 7 to 10 years or more of experience in journalism/media, with excellent English writing skills and communication skills. You should currently be living in Saipan with historical experience of working as a journalist or the media in the Commonwealth of at least 7 years. Must have excellent relationship with public/government, industry leaders, opinion leaders, its customers and the media. Please apply only if you have at least 7 to 10 years journalism/media and/or Public Relations experience in the CNMI; - Graduate of any four-year degree course. Related field is preferable. Further trainings in related field are a factor; - Must have the knowledge and experience in newspaper publication, design and layout; campaign and advertising design; - Must have the knowledge and experience in photography; - Presentable with good presentation skills; - Good Managerial & Planning skills; Inter-personal skills; - Outgoing Personality |
