| Job Duties: | Assist the chief engineer in operating and maintaining propulsion engines and other engines, boilers, deck machinery, and electrical, refrigeration, and sanitary equipment aboard ship. Inspects engines and other equipment and repairs or replaces defective parts. Starts engines to propel ship and regulates engines and power transmission to control speed of ship. Stands engine-room watch during specified periods, observing that required water levels are maintained in boilers, condensers, evaporators, load on generators within acceptable limits, and oil and grease cups are kept full. Performs other related duties that may be assigned. |

| Qualification Requirements: | 1.)Must have a fast craft experience at least 2 years either in MJP or Kamewa. 2.)Holder of a valid 3rd Engineer License. 3.)Holder of a valid Panama License as 3rd Engineer. 4.)Must have a Panama Seaman's Book. 5.)Must have a valid Seaman's Book. 6.)Must have a valid Passport. 7.)Must have the following trainings, Seminars & Certificates: a)ISM awareness training seminar & certificate b)ISPS training course (SSO) c)Officer uniform (black pants, white polo & black leather shoes) d)Crowd & Crisis Management Certificate for Passenger Vessels. e.)Other important Trainings & Certificates related to Maritime Operations. |
