| Job Duties: | ER prefer: Waitress job starts with greeting the customer. You should seat customers a table in the restaurant, The Waitress is mostly assigned some specific tables for each shift which are numbered. Waitress is responsible even it may be busy night and let them feel that she will be back in a very short while. A Waitress in food services takes orders of guests, informs them the specials and answers questions about ingredients and methods of preparations. This is very helpful in accomplishing the duties to be aware of the methods of preparation of meals by the kitchen staff, if you are in this profession. This order in turn is handed over to other food services staff in kitchen by the Waitress. The Waitress also informs the kitchen staff to know when the first courses are finished, if there are multiple courses involved in the order, so that meal reaches from the kitchen to the guest's table maintaining smooth progress. Dishes are served to guests by the Waitress. In addition, if bus persons are busy, Waitress clear dishes also. On finishing meals by the guests, Waitress may present desserts and a dessert wine menu or bring a dessert cart that some restaurants have. A Waitress may consult on wines to be served to guests. During the entire course of the meal, waiters check back with guests to make sure that the meal was to their satisfaction or if anything else like knives, sauces, more drinks, or additional water etc. is required. It has to be taken care of by waiter that the dishes that are cleared swiftly so that guests do not face dirty dishes on the table; but care should be taken that the dishes are not cleared until all guests have finished eating. Onet: * Check patrons' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages. * Collect payments from customers. * Write patrons' food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff. * Take orders from patrons for food or beverages. * Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. * Serve food or beverages to patrons, and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required. * Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes. * Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning. * Present menus to patrons and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request. * Inform customers of daily specials. |

Physical Requirements: Qualified candidates must be able to meet minimum requirements and perform the primary functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
