| Job Duties: | Performs any combination of following duties to raise, place and unite girder, columns, and other structure frameworks, working as member of crew, sets up hoisting equipment for raising and placing structural steel members. Fasten steel members to cable of hoist, using tab line or rides worker operation hoisting equipment to lift and place steel member, guides member, using tab line or rides on member in order to guide it supported by hoisting and hand tools. Aligns rivet holes in member with corresponding holes in previously placed member by driving drift pins or handle of wrench through holes. General maintenance and construction work including, but not limited to, lifting heavy objects, operating machinery, keeping the job site clean and free of debris . Plus any other related duties as assigned from time to time. Follows all safety measures and procedures while conducting any and all of the above evolutions. |
