| Job Duties: | Clean work ares, equipment, utensils, dishes and silverware. Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage. Prepare a variety of foods according to customers' orders or supervisors', instructions following approved procedures. Pacxkage take-off foods or serve food to customers. Portion and wrap the food, or place it directly on plates for service to patrons. Plcae food trays over food warmers for immediate service, or store them in refrigerated storage cabinets. Inform supervisors when supplies are getting low or equipment is not working properly. Weigh or equipment is not working properly. Weigh or measure ingredients. Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed, and provide cooks with needed items.Wash, peel and/or cut various foods to prepare for cooking or serving .Onet: Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand. Place clean, utensils, and cooking equipment in shortage areas. Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly conditions. Stock supplies as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars. sweep and scrub floors. Clean garbage cans with water or steam. Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas. Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving. Set up banquet tables. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.ER preference: Customer and Personal Service-knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customers satisfaction. Food- production-knowledge of techniques and equipment for planting, growing and harvesting food products (both plant and animal)for consumption, including storage/handling techniques. Mathematics-knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry,calculus, statistics and their applications. English Language knowledge of the strucure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
