| Job Duties: | Plan tour itineraries, applying knowledge of travel routes and destination sites for an eco tour outfit doing all-terrain-vehicle outings, mountain/trail bicycling, hiking, kayaking, snorketing, etc. To accompany guests/customers of tour company during such outings and to explain details of such outings. To brief guests/customers on safety and use of ATV's, snorkeling, kayaking, and other services as may be offered by company. Give advice on sightseeing. To accompany guests on bike tours, ATV tours, snorkeling and kayaking tours, and any other tours as may be requested by management and guests including hiking and trail tours. O-Net: Plan tour itineraries, applying knowledge of travel routes and destination sites. Resolve any problems with itineraries, service, or accommodations. Sell travel packages. Arrange for tour or expedition details such as accommodations, transportation, equipment, and the availability of medical personnel. Evaluate services received on the tour, and report findings to tour organizers. Lead individuals or groups to tour site locations and describe points of interest. Verify amounts and quality of equipment prior to expeditions or tours. Pay bills and record checks issued. Attend to special needs of tour participants. Give advice on sightseeing and shopping. |
