| Job Duties: | Coordinating with appropriate organizations and outside vendors to ensure accurate current information is available and documented as part of the performance of PM procedures. Coordinates with other supervisors, managers and employees at all levels to ensure commonality of purpose and direction. Interfacing with Engineering on additions, deletions of modifications to PM procedures as changes to plant configuration dictate. Monitoring and analyzing PM reports, work orders and technician feedback to optimize effective and efficient PM procedures, planning and scheduling. Organizing and scheduling specialized training or seminars to enhance the overall ability of the department to perform in a sound technical and professional manner. Coordinating between shifts and acting as the central point of contact for mechanical/electrical PM issues. Ensuring PM activities are consistently and concisely documented. Initiating and distributing PM status reports to assist in the prioritization of resources, personnel and toxic entry time. Coordinates all facility mechanical and electrical preventive maintenance activities. Planning and scheduling of mechanical and electrical PM’s, placing emphasis on organizing toxic area PM’s to ensure efficient utilization of entrant time. O-Net: Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment and skill of personnel. Monitor employees' work levels and review work performance. Monitor tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shops to ensure adequate working conditions. Investigate accidents and injuries, and prepare reports of findings. Recommend or initiate personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures. Compile operational and personnel records, such as time and production records, inventory data, repair and maintenance statistics, and test results. Develop, implement, and evaluate maintenance policies and procedures. Counsel employees about work-related issues and assist employees to correct job-skill deficiencies. Examine objects, systems, or facilities, and analyze information to determine needed installations, services, or repairs. Conduct or arrange for worker training in safety, repair, and maintenance techniques, operational procedures, or equipment use. |
