| Job Duties: | Teach students academic subjects using a variety of techniques in phonetics, multi-sensory learning, and repetition in order to reinforce learning and to meet students' varied needs. Regular teaching load will include basic computer education for elementary students. Meet with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress, and to determine the students learning priorities as well as their resource needs. Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provide students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate. Prepares daily and/or weekly lesson plan and teaching materials based on A Beka curriculum. Other related duties and responsibilities are assigned as needed from time to time. |

| Qualification Requirements: | ER prefer: Must be Praxis passer with at least 3 years classroom teaching experience. Experience in teaching Abeka preferable; must be willing to learn and adapt the ABEKA system. College graduate holding BS degree in Elementary Education or equivalent. Must be sufficiently computer literate; earned college units or degree in computer education preferable. Dedicated, hard worker and honest; considers teaching a passion. |
