Job Duties: Steer vessels and operate navigational instruments.Put fishing equipment into the water and anchoror tow equipment, perform minor repairs. Sort, pack and store catch in holds. Remove catches from fishing equipment and measure them to ensure compliance with legal size.Return undesirable or illegal catches from the water. Pull and guide lines onto vessels by hand or using hoisting equipment.

Qualification Requirements: Employer preference: Must have a commercial fishing experience. Must know how to do Fisherman job and with a good communication skills. Must be physically fit. Can work individually or as a part of the team on board a moving vessel @ sea. Must pass a drug test and must have drivers license and a clean driving records.Must be able to remain @ sea for extended period of time. O-Net: Title Job Zone One: Little or No Preparation Needed Education Some of these occupations may require a high school diploma or GED certificate. Related Experience Little or no previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is needed for these occupations.
