| Job Duties: | Responsible for dishwashing and silver cleaning. Observes cleanliness of restaurant equipment and utensils. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks. Must be knowledgeable in chemical handling and food hygiene especially the dangers of cross contamination. Stacks crockery and pots to ensure safe usage. Must be able to work efficiently without breakage of dishes and equipment. Must wear at all times working safety protection when provided to minimize the risks of accidents. Performs other related duties that may be assigned. O-Net: Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand. Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas. Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition. Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars. Sweep and scrub floors. Clean garbage cans with water or steam. Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas. Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving. Set up banquet tables. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks. |
