Job Title: Inventory Specialist 43-5111.00
Job Duties: Collect or prepare measurement, weight, or identification labels; and attach them to products. Document quantity, quality, type, weight, and value of materials or products, in order to maintain shipping, receiving, and production records and files. Compare product labels, tags, or tickets, shipping manifests, purchase orders, and bills of lading to verify accuracy of shipment contents, quality specifications, and/or weights. Count or estimate quantities of materials, parts, or products received or shipped. Weigh or measure materials, equipment, or products to maintain relevant records, using volume meters, scales, rules, and/or calipers. Communicate with customers and vendors to exchange information regarding products, materials, and services. Compute product totals and charges for shipments.

Qualification Requirements: ER Preference: accounting and inventory control experience. Strong computer inventory management experience inter-facing with Microsoft Excel. Complete understanding of inventory accounting, cost accounting and inventory auditing. Experience with implementing and managing internal controls of retail and warehouse inventories. Experience with the retail and wholesale foods industry. O-Net: Title Job Zone Two: Some Preparation Needed Education These occupations usually require a high school diploma.
