Job Title: Surveillance Operator 33-9031.00
Job Duties: Responsible for the operation of closed circuit security television monitors. Observes workers in performance of duties to evaluate efficiency and to detect and correct inefficient work practices. Apprehends those suspected of thievery. Conducts private investigations to obtain information concerning such matters such as thievery, cheating, and employee misconduct. Prepares detailed reports concerning such matters investigated. Observes daily routines of employees and unusual occurrences. Performs other related duties as may be assigned. O-Net: Observe casino or casino hotel operations for irregular activities such as cheating or theft by employees or patrons, using audio and video equipment and one-way mirrors. Report all violations and suspicious behaviors to supervisors, verbally or in writing. Monitor establishment activities to ensure adherence to all state gaming regulations and company policies and procedures. Act as oversight or security agents for management or customers. Supervise or train surveillance observers.
