| Job Duties: | • Assist in the implementation of departmental budgets. • Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials. • Interview and train warehouse personnel. • Implement and monitor warehouse safety and security programs and activities. • Prepare correspondence, reports, and operations, maintenance, and safety manuals. • Issue shipping instructions and provide routing information to ensure that delivery times and locations are coordinated. • Confer with department heads to coordinate warehouse activities, such as production, sales, records control, and purchasing. • Review invoices, work orders, consumption reports, and demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and to issue work assignments. • Inspect physical conditions of warehouses, vehicle fleets and equipment, and order testing, maintenance, repair, or replacement as necessary. • Schedule and monitor air or surface pickup, delivery, or distribution of products or materials. • May involve use of computer or typewriter, calculator, and adding and bookkeeping machines. Verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors. • Coordinates with key personnel of assigned accounts to facilitate shipments and ensure that all requirements of shipper/consignee are complied with. Prepares status reports and corresponding updates, necessary and in accordance with shipper/consignee/station/agent requirements. |

| Qualification Requirements: | ER Preference: ministration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Transportation — Knowledge of principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits. Personnel and HR — Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems. Mathematics — Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications. Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
