Job Title: Circulations Assistant
Job Duties: Assist management in the administrative aspects of its distribution operations. Produce reports and assist to complete route maintenance such as sequencing of delivery lists and routing of subscriber accounts to insure the most efficient order and timeliness of delivery. Drive vehicle over established routes and deliver newspapers. Collect money from customers, make change, and record transactions on customer receipts. Listen to and resolve customers' complaints regarding products or services. Inform regular customers of new products or services and price changes. Write customer orders and sales contracts according to company guidelines. Collect coins from vending machines, refill machines, and remove aged merchandise. Call on prospective customers to explain company services or to solicit new business. Record sales or delivery information on daily sales or delivery record. Review lists of dealers, customers, or station drops and load vehicle. Arrange merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers.

Qualification Requirements: ER Preference: Advertising Sales Representative - KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions. SKILLS: Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. ABILITES: The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
