| Job Duties: | Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity. Manage backup, security and user help systems. Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures. Develop computer information resources, providing for data security and control, strategic computing, and disaster recovery. Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements. Stay abreast of advances in technology. Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems. Provide users with technical support for computer problems. Recruit, hire, train and supervise staff, or participate in staffing decisions. Evaluate data processing proposals to assess project feasibilty and requirements. |

| Qualification Requirements: | ER PREFERENCE: - 4 year college BS degree graduate of Computer Science or related Electronics Engineering - 4 years experience in said position - Knowledge in NETWORKING to; Plan and implement additions, deletions and major modifications to network infrastructures Implement multi-tiered network security Oversee administration and maintenance work on network infrastructure - Knowledge in TELEPHONY to; Plan, implement and manage internal and external aspects of a telephone system Oversee all telephone system changes, including routing for seating assignments - Knowledge in INTERNAL SYSTEMS to; Oversees troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provides expert support when necessary Lead, manage and advise project teams for Internal Systems implementations Analyze, design and develop software applications using SQL and other programming languages and software in addressing client's computing needs - Good communication and leadership skills REQUIRED O-Net: Title Job Zone Four: Considerable Preparation Needed Education Most of these occupations require a four-year bachelor's degree, but some do not.
