| Job Duties: | Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas. Sorts & places all products on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style,color, or product code. Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms. Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests fro materials, tools or other stock items and distributes items and distributes items to production workers or assebly line. Assembles customer orders from stock and places order on pallets or shelves, conveys orders to pakcing station or shipping department and loading of the trucks. Marks materials with identifying information. Opens bales, crates and other containers. Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed. Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant and outside of warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards and customer request. Arragnes stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers. Follows FIFO proceures. Reports accidens and malfunctions of chilled trucks. Reports damages of warehouse property and/or products. Maintains organization and cleanliness or warehouse and surrounding areas. Prepares products for container load delivery. Maintains inventory records. |
