| Job Duties: | Monitors activities in swimming areas to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers: Cautions swimmers regarding unsafe areas. Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid. Maintains order in swimming areas. Inspects facilities for cleanliness. May clean and refill swimming pool. May determine chlorine content and pH value of water, using water testing kit. May conduct or officiate at swimming meets. May give swimming instructions. Perform other related duties as assigned. |

| Qualification Requirements: | ER Preference: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Must be able to pass a swim test. Must possess a current lifeguard certificate (i.e. ARC/YMC/Ellis & Associates/USLA/Hawaii State Lifeguard/Canadian Lifeguard/Australian Lifeguard). Hospitality and customer service experience preferred. Multilingual skills a plus (i.e. Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Chinese) but not required. Related Experience Little or no previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is needed for these occupations.
