| Job Duties: | 1. Performs daily janitorial duties including but not limited to cleaning and maintaining all workspaces, restrooms, lobbies, hallways, chambers, and other areas of the building and grounds of the Legislature throughout the day; 2. Utilizes cleaning supplies not limited to soap, cleaning fluids, floor wax, and other materials related to building cleaning; 3. Operates all cleaning/lawn/grounds equipments not limited to vacuum cleaners, strippers, buffers and mop wringers, shrub trimmers, lawn mower; hand and power tools; 4. Moves furniture and equipment; 5. Performs a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of building and grounds including carpentry, electrical, plumping, masonry, and painting tasks; 6. Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building; 7. Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required; 8. Performs other related duties as assigned. |

| Qualification Requirements: | A combination of education, training, and experience, which demonstrate ability to perform the required duties and responsibilities. Must possess basic knowledge in cleaning and maintenance methods, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, painting, grounds keeping, and general building maintenance skills. Education and training claimed under item 19(A) through 19(F) of the Application for Employment must be substantiated by an official diploma and/or certificate. Failure to provide the required documents will result in automatic disqualification. O-Net: Title Job Zone Three: Medium Preparation Needed Education Most occupations in this zone require training in vocational schools, related on-the-job experience, or an associate's degree. Related Experience Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required for these occupations.
